I have several hobbies which involve live
performances.
I play several types of hand drums, flutes
and other instruments. I have played at various festivals including Texas
Renaissance Festival (as a guest player with groups such as Medumo and
Scottish Rogues) and Houston Pagan Pride Day. I have also appeared on five
charity CD's for Houston PPD: Drumming in the Spirit of Harmony: Live
in Harmony , Young Spirits of Old Faith (a collaborative
effort between some of the Pagan children in the Houston community and
several of our talented Houston area Pagan musicians), Awesome
Drumming 2003, Awesome Drumming 2004 and HPPD Ceili 2004.
I am an amateur actress who has done improvisation
theater and appeared in Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream at
the Arena Theater at College of the Mainland in Texas City, Texas.
I am an amateur, beginner level poi spinner. Poi
are what fire spinners use to train. I spin them with glow sticks and
flashers instead
of fire.
I sing, but not overly much. I was once an Alto I
throughout my school days, but now mostly just sing along with recordings
unless I'm specifically asked to sing as I was on Young Spirits of Old
Faith.

I get together with a number of people to drum, among them
friends Todd, Donna, Tesa and Daniel, collectively known as the "Drum Dogs".
We've played the 2005 Houston Witches Masquerade Ball and gather once a
month for Drumming in the Spirit of Harmony and also at other events such as
CMA Samhain to play together. We also do occasional spots with our friend
Matt at KPFT, Houston's public radio station. The group was recently renamed
