Magenta
This character was originally going to be part of a team for a comic book I had in mind long ago. I later decided I couldn't see myself drawing the same character over and over and gave up the notion of doing comics. Though I'm not fond of the background and it could use some help with the anatomy, this is my favorite acrylic painting I've done so far. I'm not really sure what it is about her that makes me love her. You can see the beginning of the influence from Bob Ross' "happy little mountains" in there. Excuse the odd seams. This was a pieced together scan because it's too big for the scanner and I'm really wasn't too good at stitching huge things like this together at the time. It will have to do until I can try to get decent photos or something. If you are interested in purchasing this piece, please contact the artist. Previous Image | Back to Acrylics | Next Image
