This character
was originally going to be part of a team for a comic book I had in mind
long ago. I later decided I couldn't see myself drawing the same character
over and over and gave up the notion of doing comics. Though I'm not
fond of the background and it could use some help with the anatomy, this is
my favorite acrylic painting I've done so far. I'm not really sure
what it is about her that makes me love her. I've been offered several
hundred dollars for this painting at times when I was in desperate need of
cash, but I couldn't part with her for such a low amount for such a bad
reason. This was the beginning of my typical way of painting mountains.
