Grok Happens This page contains artistic nudity! If this offends you, please go no further and use your browser's back button to go back where you came from. This design has three versions since I know some people would have issues with wearing naked people on their shirt in mixed company or in public.
This piece and some others on the site were all spawned out of a discussion of the concept of "grok" from Robert Heinlein's book "Stranger in a Strange Land." I hang out with a spiritual group that began as part of the Church of All Worlds which was founded based on some of the principals evident in the group of the same name in Heinlein's book. I mentioned that I had enjoyed the book so much when I had finally read it that I intended to add some "grok" inspired designs to the Cafe Press store. As often happens with my nest-mates the conversation went into pun war mode and the laughter began to rise also raising eyebrows in the coffee house where we meet.
