Dragon Fae
This piece sat on my hard drive for a long time before I could figure out what I wanted to do with it exactly. I scanned in the original black and white design and it struck me as being a little too plain to make a good piece. Then I got the idea in the back of my head to blend the fae figure with something along the lines of a dragon made of magickal or spiritual energy. Then I just had to figure out how to achieve the effect I wanted. The muse was apparently on my side and I obsessed over the piece for two days, managing to complete it. Trying to concentrate on doing anything else was aggravating since all I wanted to do was work on this.
