Digital Paintings I started my involvement with digital art around 1995. It was an event that saved both my art and my sanity. Years later, I began to develop twitching in my hands when I was performing tasks requiring fine motor control. Thus I was either erasing holes in my paper or ruining hours (sometimes days) of painting with one ill-timed twitch after another. The frustration was so great that, had I not had digital to turn to, I would likely have given up making art altogether. It would have been a crushing blow for me. So, I am eternally grateful to now have a medium where I can't erase a hole in the page and a hand twitch correction is just a click of "undo" away. |
